COMPARISON BETWEEN VIVA AND ATOS
perodua forum thread: from teruboo said
Comparing between these two cars, from my observation (Atos GLA vs VIVA
1.0 Premium),
1. Price - Not much difference. Cheaper to buy '06 Atos. '07 Atos (still
no difference) very near price to Viva)
2. Safety - P2 got ABS, EBD and airbag. Atos got none. But one thing,
Atos got solid body compare to Viva, macam tin milo.
3. Exterior - Atos got elegant body but boring, Viva like... son of Avanza
4. Interior - Viva better presentable (up to date), but looks fragile.
Better equipment such as electric mirror both adjust and fold, nice dash,
better seat adjustment and better legrom. Atos boring but solid looking,
Pioneer radio CD, more spaces to put your things etc. The cushion also
feels more durable and also double folding seats (good if going to IKEA).
But no RPM meter.
5. Engine - Viva have better performance engine but rough at high RPM
(Drive for 15 min only). Atos smoother but lack of power and fuel a
little bit bad (used Atos 1.1 for 1 month, pinjam from friend). Viva
donno of FC but usually P2 good consumption. Gearbox, Atos more smooth.
6. Stability - Atos very stable at high speed (110 to 130 km/h) but very
slow going there.
7. Resale value - Atos quite teruk but don't care coz I only sell my ride
after finished finance repayment (after 7 years).
8. Maintenance - Atos got simple engine, DIY also can. Donno bout Viva
9. Others - Atos overall macam mother's car. Viva more trendy & sporty
and got a lot of enhancement product to choose (based on MYVI)

Atos

testimonial about atos from johnboy atos thread mototrader
he said the atos is good but except the problem is:
1. the front suspension will gives you some funny noises over bumpy
road. The sime's tires are hopeless and have since changed to
14" alloy wheels and Falken tires which turns out to be good.
2. Fuel consumption is RM0.115 per kilometer and the engine
performs better than a Kenari which is very noisy.
3. The pioneer CD player is the best in it's class. You don't need
an amplifier and new set of speaker.
4. The only disappointment is the fabric seats are lousy.

just some comparison about the fuel consumption:
Atoz 1.0 manual
RM 10=70km
MyVi 1.3
RM 10=60km
Avanza 1.3
RM 10=60km

Viva
you can read about viva on this mototrader thread: viva discussion
'Viva' is probably registered by General Motors - which owns Holden and Vauxhall (UK) - but not in all countries. I don't know about Australia but there was a Vauxhall Viva sold in Malaysia in the early 1970s because my teacher drove one. It was a nice small sedan and I think it was a cloned version of an Opel. Neo was used for an engine family by Nissan but there was also a Mazda Neo which was a sister of the last Ford TX3. You see some on the roads here but it was never officially sold outside Japan. While there are some names which may have global protection concerning usage, many are country-specific so you could get the same name used by other brands in another country and unless there is enough reason for one company to demand that the other doesn't use it, usually they don't bother. that its not the first name in the world but there are have others name same like this: vauxhall viva
